“If you’re going to use this method make sure the pineapple you use wasn’t drilled. Some farms to this to stop people planting the tops and getting the top to flower and in turn fruit. Also they will only produce one flower and thus one fruit per plant however they will produce offshoots or “pups/Suckers” that you can pull off and grow to maturity that will yield fruit.”

“If you would like the pineapple to produce a pineapple, place a small apple in the middle of the plant and cover with a dry cleaners plastic bag. Pineapple are from the bromeliads family and the gas released from the apple will make it fruit in a few weeks, just keep checking when fruit appears and then remove the bag and the new pineapple will continue grow.”
