This would have to be one of the best documentaries about the potential of solar power. The simple fact is the sun could easily provide the planet with sufficient energy, right now, if only we are willing to change and to invest in harvesting that solar energy.
This documentary looks at how current solar power technologies are more than enough for people to implement a future entirely powered by the sun now, and where future technologies are taking us.
It also looks at the reasons behind why this technology has been slow to become adopted and why misconceptions about it’s potential are abound (*cough* *cough* – certain major corporate interests with a different agenda).
It also takes a long hard look at how Germany is leading the way in working towards a solar future and is setting the standard for the rest of us.
