Just plain old bleach works fine for me and don’t forget to add 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to a gallon of water for your flock to keep their innards healthy

I use the Deep Litter Method. Coop stays fresh and clean naturally. I really don’t have to do any cleaning. In the summer, I use grass clippings in the nest and shredded brown paper bags in winter. The chickens take care of the rest. They are really clean and organize. They make a nice concavity in the bedding when they lay their eggs.
