Quite good but terribly overpriced. Really taking the Michael. They are something silly like 12000 dollars!?!
ReplyYou could tweak the Earthship designs to come up with something as good. As soon as you buy a solution from someone you have value added costs. If you opt for DIY then you can achieve a whole different level of pricing
ReplyPity though as its only moulded plastic. They are having a right old laugh at 12000. Maybe 1000 but 12000- it’s just a shell like a bath for goodness sake. Wonder how long their patent is, someone else needs to start maki g these at a sensible price.
ReplyI remember seeing underground coolers inside the house on the old houses in Andalusia. Not a new concept, we just seem to have forgotten how to live without electricity

ReplyHigh-tech root cellar, probably has a high price tag too …. here, if you have an old freezer that you were going to haul off, turn it into a root cellar … http://lifehacker.com/5936047/turn-a-dead-chest-freezer-into-a-miniature-root-cellar
ReplyAny idea why there is a water pipe connected to top of a fridge sphere on the right picture?
