If you love garlic, this short video will show you everything you need to know to grow it at home in your garden. To make garlic planting easy the soil should be well prepared first. Placing your garlic cloves at the right spacing and planting them the right distance below the soil will also help to ensure your garlic will grow well.
Individual cloves should be planted approximately a hands width apart, and a fingers length deep. They should be planted with the pointy side up (this end grows shoots), and the flat side down (this end grows roots).
Garlic is usually planted on the shortest day of the year, and harvested 6 months later. The garlic bulbs will be fully developed when the long shoots go yellowy brown and start to wither and fall back down towards the soil. Check it out…
