If I’m dropping that kinda dough It’s not going to be on a container home. LOL This is the Tiny House Movement gone Hipster. LOL
ReplyHipster? It’s about the same as a trailer and those are far from hipster. Same basic lines, footprint and size for the most part.
ReplyLiz Andreasen To each their own I suppose. Difference in places as well. Here 50k will get you a fix it up in great shape to live in while you fix it up. To say nothing of the fact you can get one of these containers for about $2500. Could certainly build one like this for far less than 50k.
ReplyAre containers classed as permanent structures? Trailers aren’t as they can be towed away and that makes a massive difference to planning law over here.
ReplyIn any county around here where you could drop that on a piece of land without being hassled, you could buy a small, run-down farm for that price.
ReplyEbay’d containers. I can buy one for £1000
Watertight. Not sure how this jumps to 50,000 ?!?
Thats way over priced, is it gold plated. A new forty foot container is US$7,200. https://www.discovercontainers.com/how-to-purchase-your-shipping-containers/
ReplyFor the container, thats not a home. I’m sure this price includes everything else as well…cabinets, walls, etc. Probably all the decorating to.
