Might be easier to list the ones that arnt

Wow, what a bullshit.

Reply

This isn’t a real list. One of those Internet things from 2012. Check snopes.com

Reply

Snopes refutes that Monsanto OWNS these companies, the claim above is that these companies USE Monsanto’s GM crops. Snopes agrees that this is probably the case.

    Reply

Scary that so few corporations own so many companies.

Reply

Their products have to be replaced. And not enough of the public are aware of this monster.

Reply

2 years old or whatever, what part is not true? If these companies’ products have been produced with Monsanto products, then Monsanto is getting richer of every item sold from this list.

Reply

Irony alert , the post below this one is recommending drinking a known class 1a carcinogen .

Reply

Cadburys? Noooooo!

Monsanto sells seed. Seed is purchased by a farmer to plant his/her crop because they have determined that it will allow them to make higher yields economically. Farmer harvests his/her crop. Crop is purchased by companies on list. Companies make many different types of food and food ingredients from this purchased crop. Monsanto employees (and others) purchase food and foods with these ingredients directly or indirectly from these companies. And the cycle known as a healthy, functioning economy continues. Monsanto does not own any of these companies. Monsanto is a seed company that sells seeds (and some herbicides) to farmers. If you wish to not purchase anything that contains products that originated with Monsanto, then use the list to affect your buying decisions. But don’t perpetuate outright lies out of ignorance.

Reply

Monsanto sells a hell of a lot more than seed..and it is a parent company to the companies listed above.. Yes they do not process food directly but they DO control these companies Talk about ignorance…you either are totally uneducated or an employee of Monsanto and a flat out liar.

    Ty Fowler speaks the truth.
If I use this list, I will use it as who to buy from.
If you want to really know where your food comes from, grow it yourself. It will be a character building experience for those not having done it before.

    Reply

Thanks, how about list parent companies of Monsanto as well.

Reply

Russia has banned Monsanto and gmos from their country ..some countries like to poison its own people then spread slander and propoganda in the media.

Reply

Wow, we buy many products on this list…

Reply

Im happy to say I buy none on the list.:)

Reply

I know that lots of people eat food from that list. I can say I do not.

Reply

those companies use Monsanto product, but aren’t owned by Monsanto.

Reply

it would be easier if you tell us who is safe, omg this is crazy!

Reply

Thank goodness MONSANTO is banned in the UK ….poison peddlers pure evil

Reply

Ha–look what won’t come up on my feed!

Reply

BOYCOTT ALL THESE COMPANIES.

Reply

Will you publish one of all those “owned” by Whole Foods? They make just as much money as Monsanto & support organic farmers who use significantly more toxic pesticides per acre than conventional agriculture.

Reply

    Monsanto just bought Whole Foods

    Reply

Monsanto did not buy whole foods.

    Reply

Amazon Jeff Bezos bought whole foods

    Reply

Organic food sales totaled some $43 billion in 2016, which is roughly 3 times as much as Monsantos revenue.

    Reply

Organic is still organic. It can not have more than X amount of X in it. Organic famers have to use natural products or they will lose their certification.

    Reply

Jackie Bonilla arsenic is a natural and organic pesticide that is still used today.

    Reply

“Significantly more toxic pesticides per acre than conventional agriculture”…

    Can you cite that???

    Reply

It isn’t about the money its about health and choice

    Reply

Ecosnippets I’m not sure how accurate this information is after reading this article…
https://www.fool.com/investing/general/2013/04/10/no-these-food-companies-are-not-owned-by-monsanto.aspx

none of these companies are owned by monsanto ,

Alt news more face book BS — COKE
Is not part of Monsanto their not even a major share holder ! People playing you for Internet fools!

Printable boycott list.

Not owned by them, but at best companies/brands using their crop tech in their products? And it’s Schweppes. It looks pretty fake and unreliable to me.

What’s with the stupid mask – if you believe in what you’re saying, and can back it up, you don’t need to hide behind a mask – just makes you look like a bunch of idiots, and much less believable!

Reply

I think we should assume anything not organic made in america is potentially hazardous.

Reply

Once again another nonfactual BS article from Ecosnippet. When are people going to stop reading these morons articles.

Reply

Snopes.com says this is FALSE – do your homework!

Reply

Whoever owns these products, it is mostly processed food and not intended at all to support a healthy lifestyle whatever the labels say. I have stopped buying their stuff, keeping my money away from their profits.

Reply

Sure Monsanto owns Coca-Cola NOT!!

Reply

Kind of a misleading headline. More likely that Monsanto is responsible for certain ingredients in Coca-Cola, like the corn syrup they use.

    Reply

That I can agree with, on the other hand I don’t really care GMO is good. I don’t like that they patented it but OUR Congress could pass legislation that does not allow that.

    Reply

With Monsanto it’s about more than just GMO’s. Their business practices are pretty despicable. They’ve used their patented products to contaminate farmers crops, and then sue those farmers and put them out of business.

    Reply

I am fully aware, but again if our Congress would just pass legislation that does not allow that and removes all patens on food like Corn etc. and water then we’d be good but yeah.

    Reply

That’s unlikely. Just like with many other major businesses such as oil or big pharma, they’re in the pocket of Congress members.

    Reply

Then you’re gonna have to get off your fat arse and grow all your own food. Not only teaching you the real meaning of hard work but maybe, just maybe, to appreciate 5,000 years of human enforced plant evolution.

Reply

Hybridisation and plant selection is genetically manipulating the organism and something we have been doing for at least 5,00 years.

    Reply

seems some people have missed out on Monsanto’s Mission to Own the rights to ALL food seeds… study harder guys.

    Reply

Do you remember all the seed catalogs you got every spring?

crap that I do not eat anyway.

I grew up with Heinz but I noticed that the use high fructose corn syrup instead of sugar now so I don’t use it.

Quaker! What a shocker! But ‘Sweppes’? Maybe this list isn’t as authoritative as it seems.

Reply

Most of it is stuff I would not buy, but I buy those oats, darn it.

    Reply

I couldn’t print this automatically, but have copied and printed on my own

Reply

It’s a long list of products that I don’t consume.

Reply

What about the much larger companies that do as much crap as montesanto? Why do we leave them out?

Reply

    One step at a time.

    Reply

Wow, thats a lot of companies! Guess I’ll be changing my diet here shortly ?

Reply

Go organic and local as much as possible.

Reply

As I read through the list, I was surprised by how much I DON’T buy anymore! Good to know, though! One question – “Hershey’s Nestle”. Does that mean all of Nestle is owned by Monsanto? Another bad company – I live where they take water from our forest and resell it at virtually no monetary cost to them.

Reply

they need a list of who owns monsanto shares..

Reply

Already have mine…

Reply

I had no idea monsanto owned this many companies. Between Monsanto and Koch you really can’t shop the middle of the store!

Reply

Mostly US companies, very few sell in Australia. How about a local list!

Reply

    It is local .

    Reply

You must be joking – I don’t see too many Aussie products there.

    Reply

David is quite simple, stop using processed food whenever in the world you are and if organic is at least better chances that your food will not be poisoned or poisonous (besides coming from this company). I have studied Agronomy what I got learned in the university about nutrition and pest control is a list of names of their products (also Bayer, and now they will fuse), they lead the scientific research also, and is what happens all around so put yourself in the worst case scenario. Buy local, ideally organic and avoid all conservatives (mostly synthesized by this food cartel).

    Reply

You’ve studied agronomy and have no idea that organic also uses pesticides and that there are patents on all kinds of crops (also organic)

    Reply

Practically every processed food !

Reply

This is terrible

Reply

I can’t boycott because I use only Hunts and even that not for a long time. Mist of the foods on the list are highly processed, even those we used to trust, such as Quakers.

Reply

In south africa 99% of everyday staples are montsanto crap.

Reply

Oh no, I didn’t know Hellmans was one of theirs!

Reply

not one product we use….??

Reply

no need to print, they are all disgussing products anyways kakakkakakakaka

Reply

This is legit the dumbest shit I’ve ever seen… as soon as I saw Coca Cola a PUBLICALLY TRADED COMPANY that I knew of, red lights went off…. https://www.fool.com/investing/general/2013/04/10/no-these-food-companies-are-not-owned-by-monsanto.aspx

Reply

Why this hate towards Monsanto? You’re acting as if it’s the only food corporation out there ? ridiculous. They spend billions on research trying to make peoples lives better and all you do is bully them like clowns without actually having any factual argument against them.

Reply

You must be very uneducated to make such a statement. They manipulate the food through the seeds they put out. The seeds they put out kill pollinators and promote cancers. Corporations should not be in the business of producing food. Give the farms back to the people. Stop creating cancer causing products just so you can make even more money in the “research” for a cure.. WAKE UP WORLD #nomoremonsanto #realfoodonly #stopkillingus

    Reply

Please tell me you’re joking ?

    Reply

Troll…there’s plenty of factual evidence against Monsanto and the products they make whether pesticides, additives to food, artificial sweeteners, patents on genes that was illegally pushed through congress by pacs, JD Searle and Donald Rumsfeld and how he appointed the FDA chief under Reagan also illegal and immediately after that Aspartame was approved after years of being flatly denied!…see Sweet Death: Aspartame Poisoning and You. Then Neotame which is a derivative of nerve gas used as a sweetener in drinks targeting the Hispanic population, Sucralose which is a chemo sterilant, the list is long and nothing is good. There’s also Bayer, Dow, Pfizer, Dupont, BASF, Syngenta and many more that are systematically destroying our health and everything alive on the planet.

    Reply

    Ridiculous, unscientific reply

    Reply

Sorry – but you just lost credibility with me. As noted in other posts, Monsanto does not OWN very many (if any) of the companies you list. It may be true that these companies use products supplied by Monsanto, but they are not controlled by Monsanto. If you wish to be seen as a valid voice for change, be sure you research you posts and not post false-news just to agitate.

Reply

Owning and controlling are much the same. Monsanto owns 69 companies! This means they bought them out by share value and Monsanto can control those companies.

    Reply

I’m sorry, but I said that Monsanto neither OWNS NOR CONTROLS those companies. Also, that is still missing the point. The post says “Printable List of Monsanto Owned ‘Food’ Producers”. That is just flat out not true.

    1. As I stated Monsanto does not OWN those companies.
    2. Those Companies may buy products from Monsanto and you might be able to validly argue that we should not support companies who use Monsanto products, but what food producing companies don’t use a Monsanto product? Artificial sweeteners, pesticides, poisonous fertilizers,….
I agree and want to do what I can to not promote companies like Monsanto, but printing and circulating non-true information does nothing for credibility and sounds more and more like the little boy crying “wolf”. Rachel Carson and many others like her, initiated change by doing research and publishing facts. Let’s stick with that winning (albeit slow) process.

    Reply

Proofread your list, it looks unprofessional. It’s Schweppes and Mrs. Butterworth’s

Reply

The only way to get Monsanto’s attention is to stop buying their products. The company has the same attitude and swagger that Trump displays. A callous disregard for others and a obsessive fixation on profits for their CEO and stockholders.

Reply

use Spectrum organic mayo & Simply Organic ketchup
good tasting products

Reply

These companies are not owned by Monsanto. And further, Monsanto’s huge success in the world is the result of doing much good. Monsanto technologies have improved food production to benefit everyone. Legitimate testing shows no harmful effects. This illegitimate smear campaign is just plain stupid and reckless.

Reply

This should scare everyone!

Reply

Doesn’t leave much else to choose from…scary!!!

Reply

REAL food would be a good choice…as in NOT pre-processed!

I don’t eat anything off that list and I enjoy a healthy diet.

More terrible articles from Ecosnippet, do they write anything factual?

Really? Pepsi AND Coca Cola? ?

That was the dead giveaway that this couldn’t be true.

There are two companies responsible for the population boom of the 20th century. Chevron and Monsanto. Pesticides and GMO crops changed the world.

More lies and BS from Ecosnippits. With such bad journalism no wonder Trump is getting away calling news agencies Fake News.

Not one company on this list is in our home

pretty sure the products they make are …

    Reply

That’s a bummer, a mayonnaise as good as Hellmans will be hard to find.

Reply

Good grief! What’s left?, generic and store brands are usually name brand foods, packaged under different labels. Another case for growing your own as much as possible and cooking from scratch, making your own mixes and such.

Reply

Hmmm seems like Ecosnippets have a real issue with Monsanto. How about other producers?
How about non GM Monsanto owned foods?
Okay you have a hard-on for Monsanto, but you sound like a bunch of whining well meaning lefty nutters. Bashing a company for the sake of its name is a bit juvenile isn’t it… Stop filling my Facebook feed with your idealogical nonsense. Present me with facts or STFU ?

Go have a nice hamburger ?
