Water Pumping Windmills

Grandpa’s used to generate electricity for the house, too. It was stored in glass battery jars

I would love to have a windmill–and a wood burning fireplace. Most of the old farm houses around here have been upgraded over the years. The chimneys got closed off and natural gas furnaces installed. The windmills came down and electric water pumps installed. 🙁
